Stud Welding

This system uses Symmetrical Magnetic Fields or SRM to attach weld studs to sheet metal.

SRM uses a magnetically impelled arc that allows for an optimal support of the weld pool when welding with one-sided or unbalanced earth connection. It allows weld studs with diameters up to M8 to be welded onto thin gauge sheet metal with a minimum thickness of 0.9mm. The ratio between minimum sheet thickness and stud diameter is 1:10.
